Our adventures recently took us to the sweetest little coffee shop located in Lockport, NY. True Bean Coffee Company is such a unique gem, and I couldn’t wait to share it with all of you. The atmosphere is welcoming, and you immediately feel like you are entering a friend’s home to have a nice chat over coffee and delicious food. When you first walk in you will notice the eclectic décor and cabinets full of various drink mixing options. One of the cool things I found at True Bean was the extensive non-alcoholic options they offered; from drink mixers to wines and beer, they truly had it all.
Let’s talk menu… they offered not only coffee options, but also lots of delicious looking food. Unfortunately for Kev and I, we had just come from breakfast so all we had room for was coffee (and an amazing chocolate chip cookie I couldn’t resist), but that didn’t stop me from admiring all the options. Quiche, sandwiches and cinnamon rolls that looked like heaven, were all on the menu. I also noticed a sign for brunch options so I am sure we will be back to visit and enjoy a meal soon. The drink choices consisted of your usual coffee shop beverages as well as various specialty lattes. I went with the ‘Brown Sugar and Vanilla’ and Kev had the ‘Can I Call you Rose?’ Both were made with oat milk and both were fantastic. Mine had just the right amount of sweetness that didn’t take away from the delicious coffee roast. The ‘Can I Call you Rose?’ was a cardamom rose and vanilla latte topped with edible flower petals. The latte had a seamless marriage of floral yet sweet flavor with a little hint of spice.
True Bean Coffee Co. is located at 210 Walnut St, Lockport, NY 14094 (right next to the entrance for the Bewley Building) They are open Thursday-Sunday from 10am-2pm and closed Monday-Wednesday.
